Few words about Borderlines Project:
Borderlines is an international spoken word project, funded by Arts Council England. It will see young people in 7 centres across England and 7 countries across the EU - Greece, Cyprus, Finland, Portugal, The Republic of Ireland, Estonia and Poland, work with spoken word artists to give voice to their views on borders - physical, cultural and personal.

With the support of Joelle Taylor, Artistic Director, the centres will write and perform spoken word poetry that can also be submitted for curation on its platform: an evolving exhibition of spoken word poetry, written by young people. This exhibition will showcase the work of emerging artists all writing about the same theme.
The young people from the 14 centres will come together as part of a live streaming event on 29 March 2019 as the UK officially leaves the EU. This event will kickstart a year of international, artistic collaboration between the centres. The website will be a portal for this collaboration to be celebrated and shared.
